Results of Short courses November 2018 deadline
The selection of grants for applicants of the November Short courses deadline has taken place. The allocated budget for the call of €5,720,000 has been fully allocated. Out of 2289 nominated candidates from 53 countries, 1969 candidates (86%) were eligible. After assessment we have been able to grant 808 Short course scholarships. For some countries we received more nominations than for others. The selection depends on the quality and amount of candidates from all participating countries. For some countries we received more nominations than for others, which makes equal distribution of scholarships among all countries difficult. Focus countries received a higher amount of scholarships based on the additional budget for these focus countries and their high amount and quality of candidates. In 2019 we aim to receive more applications from the other 6 focus countries Jordan, Lebanon, Palestinian Territories, Mali, Niger and Burkina Faso.
