Orange Knowledge Newsletter - special edition
5 July 2019

Dear relation,

In this special edition, we proudly present the key figures of 2018 of the Orange Knowledge Programme in a series of online articles. We have developed infographics to visualise what has been implemented in this first full year of the programme, and we collected some great stories of change. Share our pride and be inspired!

We are also very happy to inform you that in further aligning our programme to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' policy, we have received approval for a country and budget expansion. It was officially published on 26 June in our government's gazette (see article below). We see this budget and country expansion as a great development for our programme, offering the chance to include new countries, extra funding for specific countries or regions, and so more. Read all about it in this Newsletter. It gives the Orange Knowledge Programme an extra boost, also in terms of workload. We are confident, with the team we have, that we are up to this fantastic challenge!

We wish everyone a good and relaxing summer season, and we look forward to accelerating from September on to make 2019 at least as memorable as the first programme year 2018!

Warm regards,

Roos Hogenkamp
Manager Nuffic Global Development

Orange Knowledge Programme meets policy

We can also develop a number of regional calls, allocate extra funding for certain countries, and include education for refugees and their host communities. What does this all entail for the programme?
