Administration of Individual scholarships
'Delta' will replace 'Atlas'

We would like to inform you that the online administration system "Atlas" will be replaced by "Delta" for future deadlines. The system is used for administering individual scholarships in the Orange Knowledge and MENA Scholarship Programme.

What's new?
The new Delta administration system, which is already in use for Tailor-Made Trainings, has a couple of user friendly benefits. Delta can for instance create specific personalised links (URLs) for each deadline for each institution, this makes the application pages more specific and clear. The system also has the functionality of 'mouse-overs' to give helpful instructions to applicants. More importantly, the new system is qualified to adapt to specific policy amendments, like extra budgets for specific regions or specific inclusion quota. Processes like registering a course or applying for a scholarship will hardly change.

When?
Atlas users will soon receive a notification for your account registration in Delta, This will be followed by information on when the definite change of systems will take place and what the next steps will be. For past individual scholarships deadlines including this April 2019 deadline, Atlas will remain accessible and active for existing accounts and applicants.

PLEASE NOTE: To prepare Delta for future extension, the system will be offline from Monday 8 April 13:00 CEST till Tuesday 9 April 17.00 CEST.  Our apologies for the inconvenience to current users of the system.

Your questions answered
Q&A for institutional calls
Now that many calls for institutional collaboration are open, we receive questions, we publish twice a week on our website. Here are this week's general questions:

1. Concerning Management team of the Country A consortium: is it obligatory that the project coordinator is employed with the lead partner of Country A? Or could it also be a person employed with Country A consortium member, or even a person not employed with any Country A partner?

2. Can a non-educational institute be GRANT applicant?
3. Can a non-educational institute (like Deltares) be NL lead applicant? Or should it be eg VHL?

Are these questions also relevant to you? Read what we answered below.
